A hilarious blog, but an overall interesting concept. What motivates our fashion choices? Basically, at the outset of any good outfit selection, a decision is made: fashion or fornication? That is, who are you trying to impress? I swear, some outfits are selected purely for shock-and-awe value for the other women in the room. Others are selected with perhaps a more cunning purpose. It may seem a little strange, but I kind of love the idea of dressing for the benefit of other women. Whether it comes from a desire to intimidate or impress, it's still some form of homage.
What exactly am I talking about here?

The first look would be considered a "man repeller," (and I love it). In general, turbans, harem pants, high-waisted shorts, bowties, high-waisted skirts, ankle socks, mismatched plaid, high-waisted jeans, suspenders- all man repellers, all awesome.
But of course nobody loves man repeller looks as much as the world of high fashion, this stuff is their bread and butter. Observe:

So, with another extreme outfit Friday just minutes away, I will strive to make my look tomorrow as man-repeller-chic as possible, and you should too!
