Go bust open the shrink-wrap on your December issue of the Notices of the American Mathematical Society, because my article has arrived. Very creatively titled, "My Summer at NPR," the piece gives some of my immediate reflections after finishing my internship at NPR.
On a very personal note, I'm so glad that the AMS asked me to write this piece, because I feel like June saw me launched into outer space and then August saw me crashing to the ground in Pittsburgh, where I immediately started running. I never really got a chance to sit down and properly digest my experience.
And much like my transition from Washington to Pittsburgh came hurtling towards me, so too does my impending move from Pittsburgh to Bonn. My mantra: Relax, stay calm, and make your body completely limp.
What a year.

Great exploration of the challenges of science and medical writing. If I wore a hat, I'd take it off.
