At the risk of looking like an enormous dork, this is making me laugh much harder than it probably should:

Ok, so maybe this isn't the point of the post, but I love the Collatz conjecture! One of my favorite open problems!
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly a good one! In my opinion, any open problem that can actually be used as an illustrative example in a Calc II class...well...it's worth it's weight in gold!
